Job DetailsJob Location: Toyotetsu Mid America LLC - Owensboro, KY 42301Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: SecondJob Category: Skilled Labor - TradesTTMA has an opening for a Die Maintenance Team Leader in our Die Maintenance Department. This position reports directly to the Group Leader, Assistant Manager, and Manager.   As directed by the Die Maintenance Manager, Assistant Manager, Group Leader, the Team Leader will:  Lead and manage the die maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all dies and related equipment.  Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.  Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve die-related issues promptly.  Monitor and analyze die performance and maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.  Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.  Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.  Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.  Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, performance metrics, and improvement plans to management.  Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence within the maintenance team.  QualificationsRequired Education:  High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.  Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  Required Experience:  Minimum of 5 years of experience in die maintenance within a manufacturing environment.  Proven experience in leading and managing a team of maintenance technicians.  Experience with die design, troubleshooting, and repair processes.  Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS) or similar lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
