The FNP will provide high-quality healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on mental health and behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to holistic patient care and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support the mental well-being of our clients.
As part of our ongoing growth, this position will be located at our Owensboro headquarters with travel to our county clinics as expansion continues.Â

Essential Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams, mental health evaluations, and health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients for side effects and therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding health management, mental health issues, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with best practices in family medicine and behavioral health.
- Completes other administrative support duties and special projects as developed and assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from a recognized certifying body.
- Valid nursing license in the state of [State].
- Experience preferred but not required in psychiatric care, preferably in an outpatient or behavioral health setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
