CMI manufactures the Intoxilyzer® brand of evidential and preliminary breath alcohol testing instruments. CMI, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPD, Inc., also located in Owensboro, Kentucky. MPD, Inc. is 100% employee owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, (ESOP). The Rework Technician is responsible for the reworking of products and documentation of records associated with those processes for the service department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Operating from both written and verbal instructions, follow detailed sequence of tasks without deviation, to disassemble, rework and reassemble instruments returned for service. Ensure and maintain a flexible, teamwork-oriented approach with all service personnel as well as other team members. Perform calibration work on the Intoxilyzer brand instrumentation as needed. Accurately maintains records utilizing the enterprise resource manufacturing software and other systems. Identifies trends and makes recommendations to production and service personnel. Provide suggestions for changes to procedures and documentation. Reports issues found during rework activities. Any other duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
