Job Summary:

Serves as a key partner to the system leadership, driving the execution of high-impact strategic initiatives that advance the organization's mission, growth, and long-term planning objectives. This role acts as a trusted advisor and right hand to senior leadership, ensuring that priority projects are delivered efficiently, tracked rigorously, and aligned with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategic initiatives from concept to completion, managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful execution.

  • Translates executive leadership vision into structured project plans with defined milestones, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.

  • Ensures alignment with organizational strategy, connecting project objectives to system-wide goals and long-term growth priorities.

  • Partners directly with Executive Vice Presidents, serving as a strategic advisor and providing insights, recommendations, and decision support.

  • Develops and maintains executive-level communications, including presentations, dashboards, and status reports for senior and board-level audiences.

  • Establishes and oversees project governance, using performance metrics, KPIs, and timelines to monitor progress and drive accountability.

  • Anticipates and resolves potential roadblocks, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.

  • Facilitates stakeholder engagement, coordinating across departments, entities, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.

  • Leads project meetings and reviews, capturing action items, driving follow-through, and escalating issues when necessary.

  • Promotes continuous improvement, refining project workflows, tools, and communication strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Professional handling of exposure to confidential/sensitive information.

  • Proficient in an advisory capacity for complex business decisions by identifying needs, making assessments and problem solving.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, strategic planning, and organizational development.

  • Strong organizational and technical skills including developing materials and using Microsoft programs.

  • Ability to analyze data and financial reports related to projects managed.

Position Requirements:

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field AND

  • Master’s degree or higher in related field preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • PMP-Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.
