Description

Position Summary

As the Fulfillment Specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining inventory and completing orders in the fulfillment center. You will execute the pick and pack process through completion, while ensuring that accuracy and quality are not compromised. Desired hours for this role are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick and pull orders as assigned
  • Do various hand work, for example: assembling gift boxes, folder presentations, stuffing envelopes, etc.
  • Reading work orders and reviewing for accuracy
  • Identifying and picking necessary items for completion of job
  • Assisting with the packing and shipping process for jobs throughout the shop
  • Inputting and tracking orders and updating jobs in ERP system
  • Communicate with supervisors and peers to receive feedback
  • Help to establish standard processes, policies, and procedures for fulfillment 
  • Occasionally transporting goods to and from our two locations 
  • Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed

Qualifications


Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent math and problem-solving ability, but no prior experience or training is required. Previous fulfillment experience preferred.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret important documents, especially work orders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's, 50’s, and 100's, and determine percentages
  • Mathematical operations applied to weighing items and using a scale is critical

Reasoning Skills

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables including deadlines, judgment calls, and inconsistent information

Computer Skills

  • Performing this job successfully requires that an individual have a basic understanding of computers and data entry

Other Qualifications 

  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day.
  • Ability to multitask effectively 
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

  • While performing the duties of this job, one is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time and use hands to handle letters, envelopes, and packages, and operate controls. Additionally, reaching with hands and arms is regularly required. Conversing with co-workers and managers while working is crucial as well. The associate is regularly required to walk, stoop, and bend over and occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate works in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, as well as other employees. Additionally, the noise level in the work environment is moderate and usually consists of light machinery, nearby printers, and other employees conversing
