Yorktel is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who is a key member of the Project Management Office responsible for leading complex, high-value audiovisual and unified communications projects from initiation through completion. This role owns project delivery, financial performance, client satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination. The Senior Project Manager serves as a primary client interface, drives project execution strategy, and contributes to continuous improvement of PMO processes and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale, multi-site, and complex AV/UC deployments across commercial and government clients
  • Own the full project lifecycle including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and delivery outcomes
  • Coordinate all internal and external resources required to successfully deploy assigned projects
  • Manage multiple large and mid-size projects simultaneously while maintaining control of additional smaller efforts
  • Establish project schedules, conduct internal and external kickoff meetings, and maintain alignment across all stakeholders
  • Lead regular project status meetings and ensure clear communication of progress, risks, and next steps
  • Own project financial performance including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting accuracy, and change order management
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks related to scope, schedule, and financial performance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including executive stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and overall client satisfaction
  • Manage escalations and drive resolution across internal teams and external partners
  • Lead coordination across engineering, programming, field operations, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery
  • Interface with vendors and subcontractors to support procurement, scheduling, and execution activities
  • Support and assist the Sales team with project timelines, scoping input, and RFP responses as required
  • Drive accountability across all project contributors to meet delivery milestones and contractual commitments
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMO standards, tools, and reporting frameworks
  • Mentor and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators, providing guidance on execution and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve delivery, financial, and client success metrics
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and support staff
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across project teams
  • Lead by example on all engagements and maintain high standards of professionalism and performance

Education and Experience:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in AV/UC, construction, or technology integration environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale or multi-site deployments
  • Proven experience with budget ownership, forecasting, and financial performance management
  • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification preferred
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field

Additional Requirements:

  • Domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area.
  • International travel may be required.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract.
  • Current valid U.S. Passport.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Limited weekend and/or night work may be required.
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts.
