ANIMAL CARE COMPANION ~ (Boarding and Daycare)

Pets will love their safe, healthy, and happy stay at our state of the art facility and will be begging to return! Our highly trained and loving staff treats every pet as if they were their own. Staffed 6 days a week. We pride ourselves in making sure the safety and well-being for each pet is our highest priority.

Our Animal Care Companions must be able to follow direction, are self-motivated, self-starters, responsible, well-organized, and can interact effectively with other staff as part of a team. We choose only the most passionate, devoted, and dedicated animal lovers to join our team. We are now hiring energetic and fun-loving humans who have a passion for caring for animals.

Weekends and Holidays are required

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Be confident and comfortable with dogs
• Responsible for proper husbandry care of all boarded animals, including feeding, watering, bathing, record keeping, and the overall cleanliness of kennels, and cages.
• Complete daily cleaning routines in a timely manner, maintaining assigned areas in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
• Clean and disinfect kennels and dispose of animal waste.
• Learn and follow infection control procedures for potential or known illnesses.
• Monitor the health of animals; follow established procedures if symptoms of illness arise.
• Attentiveness and detail orientated is required! You must be able to immediately respond to any conflicts and notice any signs that the dogs in your care are sick or in distress.
• Patience is a must! We require people who can manage dog behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Ability to work cohesively with a team in both a respectful and professional manner.
• Remain in compliance with all policies, including attendance, dress code standards, and punctuality.
• Takes their own development as a personal responsibility and uses mistakes or challenges as an opportunity to grow to a higher standard of performance.
