Description

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.   Provide supervisory and administrative responsibilities for the overall operation for up to four locations

2. Help ensure standards and documentation requirements are met in accordance to Communicare policies, Department of Mental Health Standards, and Medicaid regulations.

3. Recruit, train and supervise staff

4. Schedule coverage and fill in for absent staff, when necessary

5. Be available for after-hours crisis management as needed

6. Perform rounds on all shifts a minimum of one time monthly or more as needed

7. Serve as a liaison for clients in obtaining services, including transporting clients as needed

8. Assist in establishing policies, procedures, activity schedules, and other information as required and necessary for the operation of the program

9. Work closely with Communicare to maintain billing records, fees and client financial records

10. Attend meetings, staffings, and other activities as needed

11. Work under the supervision of the Director of IDD Services

12. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  

Qualifications:

1.  Minimum of bachelor’s degree in mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities or a related field

2. Must be CPI certified or able to complete CPI training and any other training required by Communicare and the Department of Mental Health

3. Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job as listed above

4. Ability to relate positively to individuals who are served through the Supervised Living program and their families

5. Must have transportation or access to transportation and be able to provide automobile insurance and an insurable driving record must be maintained continuously throughout employment

6. Good management/supervisory and good oral/written communication skills

7. Pass a background check
