ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLEÂ

Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full time Scheduled Service Coordinator to be based in person at our office in Oxford, CT.Â
The ideal candidate will have an instinct to anticipate guest’s needs to envision a seamless trip from start to finish to produce optimum results. We are looking for a friendly, confident, and thoughtful person to bring personal service to every interaction. Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Consistently demonstrate company values with clients and teammatesÂ
- Be engaged in team meetings and/or training sessions to build your knowledge-base and awareness of company products and initiativesÂ
- Engage in conversation with our clients while navigating multiple systems and resourcesÂ
- Accurately book and confirm domestic and international flight reservations Â
- Respond to clients’ questions and requests via email and phoneÂ
- Monitor and reply to company instant messaging with remote airport handlers and interdepartmental communication Â
- Inform guests of flight delays via SMS system and phoneÂ
- Assist and educate guests of passport and visa requirementsÂ
- Diplomatically resolve travel-related issuesÂ
- Pursue resolutions to trip issuesÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of customer service experienceÂ
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, listening), attention to detail, organizational and time management skillsÂ
- Talent to de-escalate difficult situations in a calm, professional mannerÂ
- Self-motivated with the capability to work as part of a close teamÂ
- Independent problem solverÂ
- Strong typing skillsÂ
- Proficient with internet navigation, instant messenger tools, Outlook and Microsoft OfficeÂ
- Capacity to work with frequent changes in procedures, directions, and outcomesÂ
- Must be flexible to adjust work schedule for seasonality and changes in demandÂ
- Ability to work non-traditional hours to include evenings, holidays, and weekendsÂ
- Open to receive coaching feedback through regular meetings and apply learningsÂ
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times
