Job Description:
Haider Engineering P.C., a rapidly expanding REI firm, needs Construction Inspector in the Nassau and Suffolk Counties for NYSDOT safety improvements project.
NOTE: The job location in the listing is only for reference, the actual job locations are as follows:
Towns of North Hempstead and Huntington in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The safety improvements will be at two intersections to improve the traffic flow and decrease the accident rates. The project locations are:

Towns of North Hempstead and Huntington in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The safety improvements will be at two intersections to improve the traffic flow and decrease the accident rates. The project locations are:
Location 1 - NY101 (Port Washington Boulevard) at Middle Neck Road, Village of Flower Hill, Town of North
Hempstead, Nassau County. The proposed improvements under consideration at this intersection include additional
storage for the left turning vehicles, potential installation of new traffic signal and reconfiguring of major driveways.
Location 2 - NY25 (Jericho Turnpike) at Sweet Hollow Road/Charles Avenue, Town of Huntington, Suffolk County.
The proposed work includes adding left turn lanes. Utility relocations, drainage, pavement work and traffic signal work.
Duties and Qualifications:
- NICET II-III Certificate (or equivalent)
- OSHA 10hr certification (preferred)
- NYSDOT experience (preferred)
