Position Summary
Integrated ENT Allergy & Immunology is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing clinical team. The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting physicians and nursing staff by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the office.

Key Responsibilities
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Greet patients and prepare them for their office visit by verifying demographic information and the reason for the appointment.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Escort patients to examination rooms while maintaining efficient patient flow.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical history, current medications, allergies, and other pertinent clinical information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Prepare examination and procedure rooms according to physician and patient needs while maintaining appropriate infection control standards.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Perform clinical procedures and diagnostic testing as directed by the physician and within the scope of practice.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Prepare laboratory specimens and ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Administer injections, immunotherapy, vaccinations, and other medications as directed by the physician and permitted by applicable regulations.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, follow-up instructions, and diagnostic testing under physician supervision.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Communicate laboratory and diagnostic results to patients as directed by the provider.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Answer, document, and appropriately triage patient telephone calls and electronic messages.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, diagnostic testing, and procedures as needed.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation within the EMR.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Clean, disinfect, and restock examination rooms and clinical equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control standards, and all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and organizational information.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽High school diploma or equivalent required.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Minimum of one (1) year of recent Medical Assistant experience in a physician office, outpatient clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Current BLS certification preferred.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and clinical information.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and patient care procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Previous experience in an ENT, Allergy, Immunology, or other physician specialty practice preferred but not required.
