Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate program month-end closings including review of monthly journal entries, prepare monthly financial statements, prepare month-end account analysis, and integrate program financials into Agency financial package.
  • Review program payables and cash receipts, and approve for processing.
  • Review monthly claims for submission to funder, analyze disallowances and resubmit for payment.

         Prepare agency administration claims monthly for submission to funder.                     

  • Provide budget vs. actual variance analysis with explanation for deviations.            
  • Communicate with state, local and other funding authorities regarding program reimbursement procedures, answering questions and/or providing information.
  • Coordinate Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR) and all other periodic reports for programs as required including completing financial information for audits when necessary.
  • Supervise two finance personnel on a daily basis. Provide training, coaching, counseling, and conduct performance appraisals.

 

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree; Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years prior related experience in financial analysis, budgeting or accounting.
  • 1-2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables


Schedule:  35 hours per week - 9AM – 5PM Monday – Friday


Rate of Pay: $75,000 annual

 

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
