We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint finishes to a variety of machinery, equipment, and fabricated components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal adhesion.
  • Operate paint spraying equipment, spray guns, and other industrial painting tools to apply coatings evenly across different materials.
  • Use crane or materials handling equipment to move heavy parts or finished products safely within the workspace.
  • Maintain accurate records of paint types, coats applied, and work completed using basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Follow safety guidelines related to industrial painting, equipment operation, and materials handling to prevent accidents.
  • Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks as needed, supporting overall production flow.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and finish consistency.
Experience
  • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing painting environments, including auto body repair or auto painting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation, crane usage, and warehouse procedures for materials handling.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction on the production floor.
