Responsibilities:
- Provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources Director and contribute to the effective operation of the Human Resources Department.
- Prepare department correspondence, generate reports and conduct Human Resources related research. Open Department mail, date stamp and distribute accordingly. Respond to general requests.
- Coordinate Payroll Action Notice and Employment Requisition process ensuring timely receipt of signatures and interdepartmental communication. Maintain Open Positions Tracking spreadsheet and Position Requisition book.
- Prepare Department vouchers for invoice payment and monthly reconciliation of Director’s credit card.
- Obtain liability and malpractice insurance certificates, coordinating with the Diocese Risk Management & Insurance Department.
- Assist in planning and executing HR recognition events, supporting logistics and presentations for Annual Service Awards, Staff Day, holiday parties and other events.
- Attend Job Fairs and Open House recruiting events as needed.
- Provide coverage for the reception desk as needed as part of the Shared Services Team.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with candidates, staffing managers and team members.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule:
20 hours per week – Monday through Friday
Rate of Pay: $22 per hour

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
