Endless Joy.  Our industry is thriving, and at COMC we’re building a team that’s passionate about using cutting-edge technology to enhance the joy of collecting sports trading cards while expanding into new categories. We’re committed to delighting our customers—collectors, consigners, and enthusiasts alike—by delivering innovative, engaging, and enjoyable experiences at scale.    Location: Algona, WA (On-site)  Job Type: Full-Time; Hourly, Non-Exempt  Reports To: Listing Squad Captain  Travel Required: None  Shifts Needed:   Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm   Saturday – Tuesday, 8:00am – 6:00pm   Compensation: $19.70 - $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly     Summary  The Card Generalist is responsible for accurately processing collectible card submissions received through consignment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth and accurate flow of inventory by receiving, prepping, sorting, storing, imaging, and identifying cards. The Card Generalist serves as a front-line representative of the COMC brand and is expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.    Responsibilities/Duties  Handle inventory carefully and accurately.  Open packages, mailers, and envelopes while following proper handling procedures.  Inspect and count incoming cards to ensure accuracy.  Sort and store items based on standard procedures.  Capture high-quality images of cards using our proprietary system.  Identify cards by subtle differences to ensure correct classification.  Complete all processing tasks accurately and efficiently.  Communicate clearly with your team and supervisor in person, chat, or email.  Be available to work extended or alternate hours, including weekends, as needed.  Learn other processes and assist different departments as assigned.  Meet or exceed productivity expectations for your role.  Keep customer and company information confidential.  Follow COMC C.A.R.D (Collaboration, Accountability, Results, Diversity) values and maintain quality standards.  Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team.    QualificationsSkills/Knowledge/Abilities  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.  Clear verbal and written communication skills.  Comfortable using computers and standard software, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).  Ability to learn new systems, tools, and procedures quickly.  Able to follow processes, meet productivity goals, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.  Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.    Education & Experience  High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.  Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or operational support preferred.    Benefits Offerings  Competitive Wage Paid Time Off up to nearly 4 weeks per year  2 Floating Holidays Per Year  401(k) Program with Company Match  Employer provided Free Medical + Dental plans  Employer provided LTD and Life Insurance   STD for employees outside of Washington State  Employee discount on www.COMC.com   Employee Assistance Program   Legal Library Access     Work Environment & Physical Requirements  This position may involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or using standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
