Job Summary

De Nora is seeking highly-motivated students to fill an internship position in its Corporate R&D division located at the De Nora Tech facility in Concord, Ohio, about 30 minutes Northeast of downtown Cleveland. Come be a part of a dedicated, multi-national team of researchers spread throughout three continents, tasked with developing robust, innovative technologies and products to facilitate De Nora’s growth of its electrode businesses in the areas of water electrolysis, fuel cells, CO2 conversion, and water treatment! 

Dates:  Fall 2026 with minimum commitment of one semester but multiple semesters optional based on your availability

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work within small teams to execute R&D projects to develop new electrode technologies and products
  • Help design, build, automate, and operate lab-scale experimental apparatuses to fabricate and test developmental electrodes and related technologies
  • Synthesize new catalytic materials, coatings, and electrodes for testing
  • Collect experimental data, maintain accurate and complete records, summarize information into tables and graphs, reports, and presentations
  • Contribute to new idea generation 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Students seeking a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related field 
  • Ideally, the candidate has classroom and/or laboratory experience related to electrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, or corrosion science
  • Strong aptitude and desire to work in a hands-on experimental environment
  • Previous experience in industrial and/or academic laboratory settings preferred
  • Safety first attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an efficient and timely manner
