Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional-QIDP

Pay: $24.00-$25.50/per hour (based on experience)

Nature of Work:

Receives direct and ongoing supervision from the Residence Manager. Ensures person-centered approaches and Pathways, Inc. VMP are incorporated into life strategies as directed through CFAs, goals, Residential Habilitation Plans. Assists in the development, implementation and follow-through of individualized person-centered program plans. Ensures high-quality service plans are in accordance with all relevant regulations, agency policies and procedures and the Residential Standard Care Plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

•A QIDP must have at least one year experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities and is one of the following: a doctor of medicine, a registered nurse, an individual who holds at least a bachelor’s degree in the following areas: sociology, social work, education, rehabilitation counseling and/or psychology.
•A current, valid driver’s license is required.
•Must meet the requirements related to Criminal History Record checks that became effective April 1, 2005 which requires prospective employees to be fingerprinted if they have regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with people receiving services in our programs regulated by OPWDD.
