Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek)

3rd shift:  10:00 pm – 6:00 am

"We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $23.00-$30.00/hour, 10% shift differential for 3rd shift.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.”

Position Summary:

The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up CNC lathe machines for production runs.
• Load raw materials and verify tooling configurations.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Make offsets and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow all required work and maintenance instructions and procedures
• Load component materials into product specific tools
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements
• Perform other functions as required.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• 2+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience
• Experience with one of the following lathes: Makino, Haas, or Mazak
• CMM training a plus
• Must have proficient knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment and techniques
• Basic shop math skills required
• Proficient knowledge of reading blueprints and/or operation sheets
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with small precision parts
