Summary/Objective

Rabine America Maintenance seeks an experienced Concrete Finishers and Laborers to join our crew in concrete and/or asphalt projects. This role requires a positive, energetic, hands-on individual who can make responsible independent decisions using strong leadership, initiative, organization, and interpersonal skills to ensure the success of each project and crew member. They will need to have experience competently working in a high energy, fast paced role.


Essential Functions

  • Work as a team member and leader to carry out day-to-day operations to ensure each job is performed and completed to standard.
  • Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction materials and equipment keeping in mind contract specifications and safety concerns.
  • Observe and determine potential quality control issues and apply necessary corrections.
  • Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained, and used effectively.
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s policies.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Preferably 1+ years of relative construction work experience. Specifically, concrete finishing work and asphalt work.
  • CDL Class A, B, or C is preferred with no automatic restrictions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the team and general community.
  • Excellent hand, eye, and foot coordination.
  • Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and tools.
  • Must be enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive at solving problems.

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Travel to onsite work locations is required, both within the state and occasionally out of state. Reliable transportation and flexibility with travel schedules are essential. Loud equipment and being near heavy machinery is part of the day to day. All necessary safety equipment and training will be provided to ensure a secure and productive work environment.


Physical Demands

Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions year-round. Responsibilities include frequent lifting and carrying of materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs., regular climbing and working from ladders, and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with overtime as required and possible on-call work when necessary.


Travel

This role requires 70% travel in and out of state.
