Creative Services Manager
Office of Communications
Job Summary: 
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the District’s creative services team, including graphic design, website development, and videography. The position works closely with executive leadership and staff across the agency to deliver high-quality, customer-focused communications products and services.
Job Duties Include:
- Oversee Creative Services staff, duties including the website, videography, and graphic design.
- Responsible for coordinating technology and equipment budget and professional development. Â
- Relationship building with other areas in the agency to ensure customer needs are met.
- Review all videos and graphics to ensure that they adhere to District style.Â
- Serve as a trusted communications partner to executive leadership and department staff.
- Consult with internal customers to understand communication goals, establish priorities, and guide creative solutions.Â
- Confidently communicate timelines, expectations, and project recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Knowledge Of:
Supervision, production related communications tools; software, electronic media; grammar and editing.

The ideal candidate is service-minded, collaborative, responsive, and comfortable building strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. This role requires a proactive communicator who can confidently guide projects, manage competing priorities, and provide exceptional internal customer service in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing creative professionals while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused team culture. Must also have an advanced understanding of process workflow and technology, ability to problem solve; facilitate coordination and foster collaboration; and demonstrate advanced project management skills.
Ability To:
Organize and prioritize work efforts; work independently and as a team; think strategically, identify and resolve issues quickly, work under tight deadlines, maintain a positive attitude even while under stress. Ability to proactively engage with staff, build partnerships, and move projects forward with minimal direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, graphic design,
communications, or a related field and four years of professional experience, and at least one year of supervisory or management experience
A master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, graphic design,
communications, or a related field can substitute for one year of the required experience.
Related professional experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Additional Details:
Starting Salary Range: $67,496.00 - $87,734.40
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
