Summary
The Sanitation Operator is responsible for supporting the Sanitation Department in ensuring
cleanliness standards, scheduling deep cleans, documentation accuracy, and efficiency. This role
includes individualized and team-oriented work as well as assisting with training initiatives,
coordinating with management from different departments, supporting Quality standards, and
supervising sanitation technicians. The Sanitation Operator plays an essential role in maintaining
high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
Responsibilities
● Assist management with onboarding and training initiatives.
● Aid in the creation and revision of sanitation-specific Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs).
● Oversee coordination with management for deep cleans of stations
● Assist in timely equipment cleaning and station deep cleans.
● Communicate clearly with leadership in Production and Quality regarding equipment
cleanliness and readiness.
● Communicate with and supervise Sanitation Technicians, delegating tasks as assigned by
Quality Management.
● Ensure Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are followed.
● Ensure Inventory is upkept promptly to prevent delays in receiving
appropriate materials required for the position.
● Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
● Capacity to take direction; attention to detail
● High School Diploma or Equivalent
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
● Willingness and readiness to work extended hours as needed
● Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
● Ability to wear PPE (Hairnet, Beard net, Gloves, Lab coat, etc.) and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
● Ability to follow safety procedures
● Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs
Working Conditions
Long periods of sitting and/or standing, a noisy work environment, and warehouse temperature, humidity, and conditions are affected by outside conditions.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
