Job Description:

The Lead, HR Business Partner will support core client groups within the Intel & Cyber sector, helping drive business performance through strategic HR partnership, talent planning, and organizational effectiveness. This role supports the Microelectronics Division, Tactical Products and Force Protection business areas, while also providing data analysis and HR project management support for the sector team. Partnering closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence, this individual will help shape culture, strengthen talent practices, and enable sound workforce decisions across a cleared employee population. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of HR partnership, analytical strength, adaptability, and the ability to influence outcomes in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for designated client groups within the Intel & Cyber sector.
  • Support the Microelectronics Division, Tactical Products, and Force Protection business areas on strategic and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Provide data analysis and HR project management support for sector-level initiatives and priorities.
  • Partner with leadership to drive talent actions, workforce planning, and succession planning across a cleared workforce.
  • Support an integrated, cross-functional program leadership team with aligned HR strategies and solutions.
  • Provide matrixed HRBP support to a broader functional employee population across a portfolio of approximately $250M in annual revenue.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to implement initiatives that support business strategy and enhance organizational capability.
  • Coach leaders in addressing and resolving both the human and operational aspects of the work environment.
  • Drive talent solutions in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
  • Utilize workforce data, insights, and trends to inform recommendations, influence decisions, and lead or contribute to HR projects and special initiatives.
  • Up to 10% travel.
  • Ability to obtain US government clearance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in an HR Business Partner or closely related HR role, preferably within a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated experience driving HR strategy in performance management, employee engagement and retention, staffing, compensation, leadership coaching and development, and succession planning.
  • Experience supporting leaders and individual contributors while addressing employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and workforce needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and influencing skills, with the ability to use data to support talent decisions and business outcomes
  • Experience supporting cleared populations or security-sensitive environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies and talent initiatives to business goals.
