Court Preparation and Daily Maintenance
Har-Tru Tennis Courts and Creek Ball Courts
- Open courts each morning and prepare all surfaces before member play.
- Rake , clean and line courts daily.
- Repair low spots, birdbaths, and surface irregularities.
- Monitor and adjust court moisture levels.
- Operate irrigation systems and monitor watering levels.
- Maintain proper court firmness and surface consistency.
- Replace and repair court lines as needed.
- Apply Har-Tru material when required.
- Monitor court conditions during and after rainfall.
- Assist with court closures and reopening procedures.
Pickleball Courts
- Sweep, blow and clean court surfaces daily.
- Remove debris, leaves, and standing water.
- Inspect playing surfaces for cracks, damage, or hazards.
- Maintain proper appearance and cleanliness of all pickleball courts.
- Assist with installation and maintenance of windscreens and court accessories.
Facility Maintenance and Presentation
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout the racquet sports complex.
- Clean and maintain:
- Court furniture
- Benches
- Umbrellas
- Scoreboards
- Amenity stations
- Water stations
- Ice machines
- Coolers
- Walkways and surrounding areas
- Pressure wash facilities and court areas as required.
- Monitor and report facility repairs.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
- Safely operate:
- Golf carts
- Court rollers
- Line sweepers
- Blowers
- Pressure washers
- Hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain organized storage areas and maintenance facilities.
Event and Tournament Support
- Assist with setup and breakdown of:
- Tournaments
- Social events
- Team matches
- Club championships
- Special member events
- Set up tables, chairs, tents, signage, and event equipment.
- Ensure courts are prepared to the highest standards for major events.
Court Construction and Improvement Projects
- Assist with:
- Court resurfacing projects
- Windscreen installation
- Court accessory installation
- Amenity station improvements
- Facility enhancement projects
- Support outside contractors when necessary.
Preventative Maintenance Program
- Participate in preventative maintenance schedules.
- Monitor court wear patterns and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance programs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
Member Service Responsibilities
- Interact with members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to member concerns regarding court conditions.
- Maintain a positive and service oriented attitude.
- Always represent the Racquet Sports Department in a professional manner.
