Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration in PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by verifying visitor access, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a residential community, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access by checking credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, and communicating entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
