The Catering & Conference Services Manager is responsible for generating and servicing catering and group business while ensuring the flawless execution of meetings, events, and special functions. This role manages client relationships throughout the event lifecycle, from prospecting and contracting through planning, execution, and post-event follow-up. This position is part of the Commercial team and reports to the Director of Catering.Â

What you will do:Â
Solicit and develop new catering and group business opportunities to achieve revenue goalsÂ
Respond to client inquiries and convert leads into confirmed businessÂ
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and servicing objectivesÂ
Manage all aspects of event planning and coordination from contract through executionÂ
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning processÂ
Coordinate event details including meeting setups, banquet functions, room blocks, amenities, billing, and special requestsÂ
Conduct site inspections and presentations for prospective clientsÂ
Collaborate with Culinary, Banquets, Stewarding, Front Office, and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless event executionÂ
Assist with banquet menu development and event pricing strategiesÂ
Coordinate audiovisual requirements and vendor relationships as neededÂ
Maximize revenue through strategic upselling and enhancement opportunitiesÂ
Prepare and distribute banquet event orders and event-related communicationsÂ
Supervise event execution to ensure service, food quality, and guest satisfaction standards are achievedÂ
Coordinate group arrivals, departures, check-ins, and room deliveriesÂ
Maintain accurate records, client correspondence, and follow-up systemsÂ
Communicate VIP, high-profile, and security-sensitive events to resort leadership when appropriateÂ
Support annual catering and banquet revenue objectivesÂ

What you bring:Â
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferredÂ
2–4 years of conference services, catering, event management, or related Food & Beverage experience preferredÂ
Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsÂ
Strong organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyÂ
Strong attention to detail and project management skillsÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Professional presentation and customer service orientationÂ
Ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional resort teamsÂ
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systemsÂ
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishÂ
