Schedule: PRN, Per Diem 

Shift: 7a-7p, every other weekend, Sat/Sun, and potential PTO coverage and nights shifts available.

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs Radiographic and CT imaging procedures.  Positions, moves, and transports patients. Performs clerical duties. Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

 The value you’ll bring to the team:

·         Performs Radiologic and CT imaging procedures.

·         Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards, in a safe, timely manner. 

·         Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information. 

·         Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing. 

·         Performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, and completing patient record. Utilizes department computer system as needed for patient record keeping and scheduling. 

·         Transports, lifts, moves, and positions patient s as needed to properly and safely complete Radiographs, to assist others to and from, as well as within the department or to assist patient movement.

·         Prepares and administers radiographic contrast material as directed by the Radiologist. Starts IV’s when needed.

·         Moves, positions and manipulates stationary and portable Radiographic equipment in order to safely complete requested procedure.

·         Selects proper technical factors and operates equipment in a safe and effective manner, with proper attention to radiation, electrical and mechanical safety.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

·         Current ARRT certification in Radiography

·         Florida license in Radiography
