This position is a PRN float pharmacist role based in Palm Coast, providing coverage in St. Augustine, Palm Coast, and Daytona Beach.
The pharmacist will be responsible for accurately filling prescriptions, following Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, and ensuring adequate inventory of medications.
Additional responsibilities include conducting patient education, serving as a preceptor for pharmacy interns, and supervising pharmacy staff.
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Pharmacist license in the State of Florida and have at least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

This a PRN float position that is based in Palm Coast and will provide coverage in St. Augustine, Palm Coast and Daytona Beach.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Fills prescriptions accurately and efficiently using a computerized pharmacy system.
Follows all rules and regulations set by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
Assures adequate and unexpired medications are stocked, properly labeled and inventoried.
Conducts patient education/counseling necessary for pharmacotherapy.
Serves as preceptor for pharmacy interns.
Maintains inventory that is both cost effective and does not inconvenience patient.
Keeps medical staff informed and researches answers questions related to drug therapy in a timely fashion.
Supervises existing and new pharmacy staff on an ongoing basis that includes training and education
