Ready to grow your career working hands-on with animals every day? Join the team at Animal and Bird Medical Center as a Veterinary Technician Assistant and help us provide compassionate care to pets and the people who love them.

Animal and Bird Medical Center is looking to add a full-time experienced Technician Assistant to our team! The position is full-time (30-35 hours/week) including every other Saturday (half day, 8am-1pm).

Experience in dog and cat medicine is a must for this position, however we are happy to provide training and proper techniques in companion avian and exotic care.

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated individual with:

Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

This position includes a variety of tasks, such as:

Providing pet husbandry and daily care
Assisting veterinarians & technicians during exams and procedures
Preparing laboratory samples
Monitoring patients during surgery
Assisting with radiographs (X-rays)
Helping restrain and care for patients during exams
Answering phones and scheduling appointments
