Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions Company, is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Technician (Fire Truck) in Palm Springs, CA.Â

Compensation:Â Competitive Hourly Pay -Â Paid weekly, every Friday! Pay range: $32.00-$36.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications!

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm

Qualifications/Requirements:
- EVT Certification required (Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification)
- 2+ years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances
- Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
- Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
- ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
- Trade School Certificates a plus
- Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
- Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check.
- Class B CDL, DOT Med Card preferred

Working Conditions:
Â
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
