SALES MANAGER

Our Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business and driving revenue through weddings, social events, corporate events, private events, guest room blocks, and other hospitality sales opportunities.
This is a true sales-focused role for someone who enjoys prospecting, networking, developing relationships, following up on leads, and closing business.

Job Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, community relationships, partnerships, and outreach.
- Manage incoming sales leads and consistently follow up to convert inquiries into booked business.
- Connect with couples, families, corporate clients, event planners, local businesses, and organizations.
- Conduct property tours, client meetings, and sales presentations.
- Showcase our event offerings and help prospective clients envision their wedding, celebration, meeting, or event.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales correspondence.
- Sell weddings, social events, corporate events, private events, and guest room blocks.
- Negotiate and close business while maintaining established pricing and revenue goals.
- Identify upselling opportunities and maximize revenue while keeping the guest experience at the forefront.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, wedding professionals, event planners, organizations, and community partners.
- Attend networking events, bridal events, industry functions, and community events to generate new business.
- Maintain strong relationships with previous clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Maintain accurate lead, sales activity, client, and follow-up information.
- Work closely with the Event Manager and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process into event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hospitality sales experience, preferably within a hotel, resort, event venue, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- Experience selling weddings, social events, corporate events, catering, or group business.
- A proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales.
- A magnetic, outgoing personality and confidence connecting with new people.
- Strong sales instincts and the motivation to actively seek out new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach — you don’t simply wait for leads to come to you.
- Established relationships within the South Bay or greater Los Angeles hospitality, wedding, corporate, or events community are a plus.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences.
