PT Bartender – Embassy Suites by Hilton Palmdale

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to recipes and hotel standards.

• Provide friendly and professional service to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and follow alcohol service laws.

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment and glassware.

• Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.

• Restock bar supplies and maintain liquor inventory.

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup and cleanup.

• Serve drinks during the hotel’s Evening Reception and other food & beverage services.

Basic Requirements

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.

• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Work Environment

• Hotel bar or lobby bar

• Hilton Evening Reception (a signature service at Embassy Suites)

• Interaction with hotel guests, servers, and food & beverage staff
