Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations, and act with integrity through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access to help to deter loss, disruption, and other security-related concerns within the mall environment.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and crowd management during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or store opening and closing activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
