Position Description: 

The Program Manager for the Stroke & Sepsis Program reflects the mission, vision, and values of Palmdale Regional, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include patient guidance, education and follow up for our stroke & sepsis patients along with data analysis, continuous quality improvement, adherence to Joint Commission regulatory requirements, performance improvement plans for the stroke & sepsis programs, patient satisfaction initiatives and community outreach.


Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Experience in Stroke & Sepsis Program Coordination: planning, implementing and evaluating outcomes
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in the state of California.
  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Advanced National Certification preferred
  • CPI is required either within 30 days or the next full class if after 30 days
