Job DetailsJob Location: Palmdale, CA 93551Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyTechnical Product Specialist  Job Description    Who We Are:   You will be working for an innovative supplier of industrial products and services that produce Best-in-Class cost savings for our customers.  These solutions include: Integrated Supply Chain Management, Production Cutting Tool Reconditioning, Industrial Vending, Custom Value Added Solutions, Information Technology and Product Engineering. Founded in 1958, we grew to be the largest cutting tool reconditioning firm in North America.  Our customers include the largest aerospace and defense contractors in the industry and major manufacturers in the power generation, fluid control and transportation markets. US Tool Group has been committed to providing quality products and outstanding service, supported by the uncompromising dedication of our employees.    If you have:   Greater than 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools and abrasives  At least 5 years of machining experience  Must have strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and cutting tool applications  Process improvement experience  Knowledge of cutting tool geometry  Knowledge of cutting tool manufacturers  Knowledge of the aerospace market a plus  Excellent customer service and communication skills.  Strong mathematical skills  Experience with multi-axis machine tool programing a plus  Ability to interpret complex prints and models  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint  Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision  Data analysis  Ability to lead projects; results oriented  Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation     A typical day may look like this:   Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer’s requirements  Routine, basic inspection of tooling   Assist with tooling performance checks  Works with engineers to determine tooling needs  Troubleshooting of issues relating to product applications  Application support of new products  Improve existing processes and applications by reviewing objectives and specifications  Recommend changes and make modifications to tooling, applications and processes of machining as needed  Support of reconditioning program  Facilitation of manufacturer visits and the introduction of their products to the customer  Facilitate corrective action program  Performs other duties as assigned by Management  50% Sitting  40% Standing  10% Walking  Lifting up to 40 lbs.    We provide:   Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance  Competitive salary   401K benefit options  Paid holiday and paid time off accrual   Weekly Pay   A work-hard play-hard environment   Personal and professional growth      Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Protected Vet  For more information or to request a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position, please contact our Human Resources Department at 573-431-3856.  This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
