Our Dogs Inc Marketing team seeks a creative, experienced full-time photographer who can bring our mission to life through artistic, memorable imagery. You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative team of designer-photographers within our larger in-house Marketing team, photographing everything from puppies in action to the heartwarming bonds between our guide and service dogs and the people whose lives they impact. We provide our dogs, expert instruction, and ongoing support completely free of charge to our clients, thanks to big-hearted donors and volunteers. What You’ll Love Doing Reporting to the Art Director, you’ll help tell the Dogs Inc story through photography, from concept to final image. No two days are the same, and creative experimentation is encouraged alongside collaboration and openness to feedback. Your day-to-day will bring opportunities to: Handle all aspects of photography from pre-production through post-production, including planning shoots; coordinating locations, people, and dogs; staging and lighting; shooting; editing and color correcting; and preparing images for print and digital. Work with mirrorless/DSLR cameras in studio, outdoor, and on-location settings Photograph puppies, adult dogs, volunteers, staff, graduates, and clients with diverse abilities conveying authentic moments, emotion, and joy Contribute spectacular imagery to high-end marketing communications, including collateral, websites, calendars, magazines, and more Connect with clients and dog teams before shoots to help them feel comfortable, prepared, and confident in front of the camera Support fellow photographers with lighting, setup, breakdown, and other on-set needs Coordinate your travel for photo shoots in other cities and states, including both flying and driving, connecting with the graduate, setting times, dates, and locations Work as part of a collaborative team where you’ll share ideas, experiment, solve challenges, support one another, and create exceptional work Why You’ll Love It Our culture pushes the bounds of creativity to build awareness, reach those who need our dogs, and raise support for our mission. QualificationsMust-Have Abilities and Qualifications 5+ years of professional photography experience A compelling portfolio of artistic, visually striking photography, including action photography A strong artistic eye and command of lighting, composition, and color Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom Professional experience with mirrorless/DSLR cameras Comfort working with dogs of all ages and people with diverse abilities Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively Flexibility and openness to constructive feedback and creative experimentation How to Show Us Your Stuff We’d love to learn a little about you, your approach to photography, and why you’d be an excellent fit for our in-house creative team! Because this is an in-person photography role, the employee must be available to work on campus or at shoot locations as needed.
