We are seeking an E-Commerce Lead to manage and optimize our online sales and support an outstanding customer experience. This role requires a data-driven mindset and a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices. You will work closely with product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure that our e-commerce platform delivers an outstanding shopping experience, aligning with our brand values.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Execute on the e-commerce strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for e-commerce sales
  • Use real world sales data to guide future marketing spend and business strategy towards high quality revenue streams
  • Recommend e-commerce growth strategy across new channels, target customers, and markets
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our online store, including product listings and inventory management.
  • Optimize the user experience (UX) on our website to improve conversion rates, customer retention, and overall satisfaction.
  • Analyze website performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor the integration of e-commerce platforms and third-party tools (payments gateways) and escalate any performance concerns to the software team
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in operations to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external agencies to implement digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain the site content calendar and provide inputs into the site creative workflow process
  • Manage and optimize the company's martech stack, ensuring effective utilization of marketing technology tools
  • Help implement and manage the website's SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic
  • Advise on the brand blog, including post cadence and inputs into site workflow processes
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance and the site funnel using site analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the online shopping experience.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’sdegree from a top tier US college in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or arelated field.
  • 4+years of experience in DTC e-commerce management preferably in the wellness and tech industries.
  • Demonstrable and quantifiable track record of driving online sales growth and improving e-commerce KPIs in a zero to one new business build or high growth business unit
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies
  • Experience with web platforms and analytics tools like GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Previous experience working in a wellness or tech startup is a plus
  • Experience with UX/UI principles and website design is a plus.
  • Ownership of sales and marketing budget and ROI optimization a plus
  • Understanding of the Amazon ecosystem a plus (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central)
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing global e-commerce strategies a plus
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive work forward
  • Travel requirement: Approx. 10%

The approved base salary range for this position is$115,100 - $143,850. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may behigher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety offactors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the worklocation. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of LivingAdjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bayarea. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $149,630- $187,005 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for aperformance bonus and a special project incentive.  Available benefitsinclude medical, dental, vision and 401k.
