EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (STARLINK)

Starlink is revolutionizing global connectivity by deploying the world's largest satellite constellation to deliver high-speed internet to underserved regions everywhere. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support a key executive on the Starlink leadership team. In this dynamic role, you will manage complex schedules, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and enable seamless operations in a fast-paced environment dedicated to pushing the boundaries of space-based communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, make appointments, arrange travel, screen and delegate incoming calls, and provide other general assistance as required
  • Perform potentially confidential and complex administrative duties involving Outlook, Teams, Confluence, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including, typing letters, creating/updating spreadsheets, creating/maintaining confluence pages and compiling presentations
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines, and a focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Provide project management and maintain momentum on high-priority projects, including but not limited to, staffing and resource planning, budget planning and invoicing, onboarding new department members, space planning, and strategy development for efficiencies among teams
  • Manage SpaceX site visits by team members and external stakeholders to ensure an excellent experience. Duties include but are not limited to: submitting visitor security information, reserving meeting room space, arranging catering, compiling presentation materials and gifts
  • Organize, manage, set up and attend events including but not limited to: team gatherings, customer events, SpaceX’s presence at conferences and associated events
  • Coordinate both personal and business related affairs on an as needed basis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant providing support to C-Suite leaders

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of professional experience and strong computer literacy
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools
  • Experience managing both personal and professional schedules for executive level leaders
  • Ability to participate in developing project scope, managing project schedules, and following up with stakeholders appropriately
  • Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication
  • Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is based in Palo Alto, CA and will be based onsite
  • Must be willing to travel to other company sites, vendors, and customers as necessary, up to 25% travel
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:
Executive Assistant: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
