About Subsense

Subsense is a deep-tech company developing the world’s first non-surgical, bidirectional brain-computer interface powered by plasmonic and magnetoelectric nanoparticles. Our mission is to unlock direct communication between the human brain and AI - starting with medical applications such as stroke recovery and moving toward cognitive enhancement for healthy users. Headquartered in Palo Alto, Subsense brings together leading scientists and engineers to redefine the future of human–machine interaction.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Head of Product who can own the full product life-cycle—from market validation and reimbursement strategy to integrated system PoC and pilot sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap, integrating market, clinical, regulatory, and technical milestones.
  • Validate priority indications, size markets, and shape go-to-market and reimbursement models that maximize clinical and commercial impact.
  • Translate scientific breakthroughs into clear product requirements, prototypes, mock-ups, and investor-ready data packages.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of letters of intent, pilot sites, and early customers across pharma, CROs, clinical, research, and healthy-consumer segments.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution: run agile sprints, maintain product dashboards and documentation, and deliver nanoparticle, hardware, and software proof-of-concepts.
  • Establish and chair a Product Advisory Board that injects clinical, technical, and market insight into decision-making.
  • Craft compelling narratives for investors, partners, and customers that communicate roadmap, milestones, and long-term singularity vision.

  • Fluent working in regulated environments and collaborating with scientific & regulatory teams
  • Data-driven decision-maker with expertise in market sizing and pricing models
  • Exceptional communicator who can craft investor stories, pilot proposals, and product docs—and inspire cross-functional teams to ship
