We are looking for a Part Time People Operations Coordinator to recruit new positions, manage our HR information system, and assist with the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department. This position will report to the Human Resources Generalist.Â

 Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates. Conduct the initial HR phone screen. Â

Build candidate profiles and interview pipelines with hiring managers. Â

Collaborate with external recruiters. Actively and passively recruit potential candidates. Â

Maintaining and updating HRIS and ATS. Â
-
Manage employees’ personnel records, documentation, and information. Â
-
Process documentation for new hires, terminations, promotions, benefits, policies, employee signatures, etc. Â

Conduct audits for compliance, payroll, benefits, and attrition.  Â

Conduct HR onboarding training for new hires. Prepare documentation for offboarding.  Â

Facilitate bi-annual performance review cycles.  Â

Administer regular employee engagement surveys. Collect pulse data through new-hire surveys and exit interviews.  Â

Improve company retention. Â
-
Assign mandatory training for staff. Coordinate annual safety trainings and new-hire trainings. Â

Assist with leave of absence documentation for FMLA, PDL, CFRA, etc. Â

Revise and update company policies and the HR handbook. Â

Coordinate with external legal counsel regarding employment law and immigration assignments.  Â

Any additional duties as assigned. Â
In order to be successful in this role, you will meet the following requirements: Â

 Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or similar field. Â

1 – 2 years’ experience in and HR and/or recruiter role. Â

Experience with BambooHR and Lever is a plus. Â

High level of integrity, confidentiality, flexibility, and action oriented. Â

High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask. Â

Good judgement skills with the ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency. Â

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Â

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook calendar management. Â
