We are looking for an experienced teacher to lead a hands-on course. Our intensive summer program is designed to help students master authentic K-pop dance training and stage performance coaching, vocal training to strengthen their voice for auditions, Korean cultural lessons for communication in the industry, personalized styling and image coaching to define their idol look, two stage performances to gain real experience, professional makeup and styling guidance, and a finale party. Time/hours would be 12:30pm – 2:30pm Interviews will begin on or about May 20th, 2026 Final selections for this position will be determined by June 1st, 2026 This position is for a Summer Instructor/Teacher of Jewelry Craft in the Arts Unlimited department of Chadwick Summer Programs. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Work Saturday, June 20, 2026, through Friday, July 24, 2026 - Program not in session on the following date in observance of the July 4th holiday - July 3, 2026. Attend a staff “onboarding” session the week beginning Monday, June 15th (on-boarding sessions are 2 hours in length) Complete in person CPR training in the week of June 15, 2026 Attend a mandatory staff training day on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00am – 3:00pm Work either a half or a full day during the Summer program hours which begin at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Plan interesting and exciting activities that are sequential and have set outcomes that are achievable for all students during the length of the Summer Program. Work collaboratively with other members of the Summer Program, including Counselors. Must maintain safe work practices and follow all safety and security procedures. Must enjoy working with children aged 4 – 14. Attend after-hours events, shows and performances, as required and determined by the class taught. The ability to work with children is essential. The ability to legally work in US is required. Compensation based on experience and highest degree earned. Hourly rate range $21.50 – 36.75. College degree starts at $36.75 Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Walking and being outdoors for somewhat extended periods of time on a regular basis is part of the job as the school sits on 45 acres of land Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus.
