Fire Sprinkler/Alarm Inspector

B&C Fire Safety is a 50 plus year locally owned, family focused company with offices in Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City Beach. B&C specializes in all facets of fire protection products and services. Our clients are comprised of commercial, industrial, hospitality, military and local, state, federal government markets. Our life safety protection services include the design, installation, inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems. Our current territory spans the entire Florida Panhandle including Pensacola, Panama City and Tallahassee.  

B&C Fire Safety has immediate openings for Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Inspectors.

Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Inspector Job Requirements/Duties:

• Nicet II or equivalent and FASA/BASA Certification is a plus but not required 

• Self motivator with no supervision required 

• Knowledge of all types of Fire Sprinkler Systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, etc.) AND/OR Commercial Fire Alarm Systems is preferred but not required.

• Perform inspections in a timely manner while maintaining high standard of quality work

• Knowledge of all NFPA codes and standards 

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Ability to climb ladders, operate high lift equipment, carry and move material

• Ability to complete site surveys and identify code issues and solutions

• Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily

• Perform work in an efficient and organized manner

• Ability to complete site surveys and identify code issues and solutions

Candidates for all of the above positions must:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent 

• Possess a valid and clean driver's license required

• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check

• Display a professional appearance 

• Work well with other trades

• Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
