Pancare of Florida is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mobile Associate to join our Mobile Department. In this role, you will be an integral part of our mobile unit team, delivering essential medical care services to schools across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in children's health and well-being.
This position is with our Mobile fleet, your hours will vary week to week and may include early morning, pm and Saturday hours. You will be traveling across the region.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Office and subsidiary entities within the Health System.
- Communicate effectively with Corporate Management, administrative personnel, and medical staff.
- Answer clinic phones and route calls to the appropriate departments.
- Schedule patient appointments according to established daily provider quotas.
- Check-in patients upon arrival and notify clinical staff.
- Collect fees for services rendered and process patient check-outs.
- Organize and maintain patient charts in the Records Room.
- Confirm patient appointments for the following day as assigned.
- Assist in processing patient chart information for faxing or mailing to the appropriate entities, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
- Fax records requests to external entities with completed patient request forms, documenting actions and filing requests in the patient’s chart.
- Verify patient eligibility for sliding scale fee services.
- Support patient billing processes as assigned by the Mobile Operations Manager (MOM).
- Balance daily sheets, cash, checks, and credit card receipts.
- Maintain a daily postage log.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Mobile Clinic Manager to ensure the front office operates smoothly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 6 months of experience in a clinical or medical operations role
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or medical operations role
