Job Description Summary The Business Development role is responsible for expanding the iTrip Panama City Beach management portfolio by acquiring short-term rental units. This position focuses on building strong relationships within the local community, developing referral networks with professionals who work with secondary property owners, and conducting direct outreach to prospective property owners. What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities) Actively networks through large group meetings(e.g., Chamber of Commerce events), small group meetings (e.g., real estate broker meetings), and one-on-one conversations with existing iTrip property owners and industry professionals to generate referrals. Schedules and cold calls on referral prospects. Engages with new clients by phone, email, text messaging and social media. Clearly communicates the iTrip value proposition with referral sources and property owners of secondary properties. Creates lead generation campaigns, manages campaigns results against objectives and makes adjustments as deemed appropriate using iTrip and partner technology Creates, delivers, and presents revenue projections to prospective property owner clients. Presents and explains the Property Owner Agreement with referral sources and prospective property owner clients. Maintains consistent, rigorous follow-up with referral sources and prospects across all communication channels. Re-engages former referral sources and past property owner clients to renew interest and opportunities. Maintains sales volume, unit mix, and pricing as new Property Owner Agreements are executed. Accurately document activities, communications, and notes within company technology platforms. Stays abreast of competitor offerings and market trendsWorks well independently and as a member of a team.  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Provides weekly activity reports to manager. Works on other projects and initiatives as assigned. QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications) Minimum of 4 years’ experience in owner acquisition in the short-term rental industry with proven track record of achievements Excellent verbal and written communication skills including fundamental presentation skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately to influence others Technologically savvy with the ability to give online demos and showcase the iTrip difference Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making Accountability and commitment to excellence Energetic phone presence and excellent active listening skills Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influence external/internal stakeholders Adapts well to and is energized by change Takes initiative Accountable for results and offers suggestions for ongoing improvements Ability to take initiative and work autonomously while staying available to other team members Ability to travel is within the territory Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Detail oriented Strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to work some early mornings/evenings and weekends to attend events and meet prospects. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent sales work experience will be considered; High School diploma required Type Full Time, Salaried, Exempt Location Panama City Beach, FL  We have an in-office work style, with most team members working in the office from Monday to Thursday and remotely on Friday.
