Basic Function/Job Overview:Â
This position is responsible for laying out, fitting, and installing customized, pre-finished, and plastic laminate clad cabinets according to Company quality standards. This position is also responsible for job site supervision of a crew of workers and utilization of their skills to get jobs done in accordance with Company standards. This job requires ability to arrive and depart directly from a job site as assigned. This position has a dual reporting relationship because the nature of the job is to performÂ
Primary Job Responsibilities: Â
- Lead the layout, fitting, scribing and installation of various types of cabinetry and related millwork per architectural drawings for each assigned job.Â
- Work as liaison with jobsite superintendent, project manager and other team members to complete all projects according to Company standards.Â
- Complete and supervise the submission of team member time cards, daily progress reports and field changes orders in accordance to Company policy.Â
- Verify information on installation package drawings and shipping lists.Â
- Attend
contractor held meetings to report issues, progress and safety and required by job contract.Â
- Ensure all Anton Cabinetry safety procedures are followed.Â

Essential Duties & Requirements:Â Â
- Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines.  Â
- Ability to stand and climb and stand on ladders and/or scaffolding, for extended periods. Â
- This position requires ability to think creatively, read English, write English, read blue prints and other architectural drawings, Â
- Ability to see, talk, understand and speak English and hear.  Â
- Ability to research, evaluate and recommend alternatives.Â
- Good eye-hand coordination and proficiency with specialty power tools, such as a miter saw, table saw, router, biscuit cutter,
sander and circular saw.Â
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and/or clients.Â
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 150 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 75 pounds.  Â
- Strong knowledge of mathematical principles, including but not limited to basic geometry, counting, reading tape measures, calculating angles and radii rise and run, and calculation of fractions.Â
- Ability to regularly satisfy criminal background and substance abuse test standards is also required.Â

Required Knowledge and Skills:Â
- Willingness/ ability to travel out of town frequently, as assignments require.Â
- Ability to work overtime as required.Â
- Good clerical skills - Able to read, write and organize Company paperwork.Â
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.Â
- Ability to read blueprint-type drawings and/or layout, shop drawings and construction drawings for customized casework or millwork.Â
- Accuracy and efficiency in laying out and fitting casework and millwork without the need for touch up.Â
- Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with a wide variety of individuals in person and via telephone.Â
- Proficiency with specialty tools such as a miter saw, table saw, router, biscuit cutter, circular saw and belt sander.Â
- Skill and accuracy with mathematical concepts and calculations.Â
- Strong ability to calculate various angles, rise and run distances and other measurements related to customized casework and millwork.Â
- Strong understanding of carpentry and engineering principles, standards and terminology.Â
- Demonstrated good eye-hand coordination.Â
- Good safety practices record.Â

Â
Experience Required Educational Equivalent:Â
- 2 years or more laying out, cutting and fitting custom prefinished or laminate clad casework and millwork experience.Â
- 1 year or more experience managing work crews and jobsites in a similar industry.Â
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record-free from multiple moving violations or DUIs.Â

Training, Certification and/or Educational Requirements:Â
- High school diploma or equivalent.Â
