Job DetailsJob Location: Miami Co General - Paola, KS 66071Position Type: Full TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, and committed to evidence-based practices that support student/client success. They will support the residential therapist team and will function under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Clinical Services. Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Responsibilities: Assist in creating activities for individual and/or group speech and language therapy sessions (i.e., looking up ideas on Pinterest, Teachers Pay Teachers).  Work with students individually or in small groups (no more than 3)-following the treatment plans written by the Speech Language Pathologist.  Lead group therapy sessions (reading a book, directions for activities). Documentation for those students in which you work with. Experience preferred with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Works. Ability to learn about an AAC device, and provide instruction. Able to learn how to use a Cricut to cut out materials for therapy sessions.
