Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Are you a Pennsylvania-certified teacher looking to make an impact outside of the traditional classroom setting?

High Focus Centers is hiring now for the current 2026–2027 school year and is seeking a full-time Certified Teacher to support adolescents in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Paoli, PA.

In this role, you'll help students continue making academic progress while they receive support for mental health and other behavioral health challenges. You'll work in a smaller, supportive environment and collaborate with families, schools, and a multidisciplinary treatment team to help students stay connected to their education during a critical time.

With a Monday–Friday daytime schedule of approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, this is a great opportunity for an educator looking for a meaningful role in a nontraditional educational setting.

What You’ll Do

As the Program Teacher, you will provide academic instruction to adolescents participating in our outpatient treatment program. You will help create a supportive and engaging learning environment while collaborating closely with both clinical and educational partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic instruction aligned with each student's home school curriculum
  • Adapt lessons and implement IEP and 504 accommodations to meet individual learning needs
  • Communicate and collaborate with school liaisons, parents, and treatment team members
  • Foster student engagement, confidence, resilience, and continued academic progress
  • Support adolescents experiencing academic disruption while maintaining a structured learning environment
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to holistic care planning
  • Prepare progress updates and final transition reports when students discharge from the program
  • Maintain student confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA standards

What You Bring

  • A valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required
  • Special Education Certification is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents is preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, therapeutic, alternative education, or nontraditional school settings is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • The ability to maintain professionalism, flexibility, and composure in a therapeutic environment
