About Us

Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling industrial engine packages, generators, and related accessories while ensuring all products meet company quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is willing to learn and grow within a fast-paced production environment.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble industrial engine packages, generators, and accessories including radiators, air cleaners, wiring harnesses, and related components.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Conduct end-of-line engine run-up testing, emissions testing, and generator load bank testing.
  • Troubleshoot and rework defective or non-conforming products as needed.
  • Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
  • Accurately track labor, parts usage, and job completion within computerized systems.
  • Safely operate hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.




Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience diagnosing engines or mechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with industrial engines or generators.
  • Knowledge of AC electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of DC electrical systems.
  • Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience.


Schedule

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Occasional overtime as needed
