Meta is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead Connectivity Capacity Deployment Operations — the end-to-end logistics engine that gets data center hardware from Meta's distribution network into deployed, live capacity. Sitting at the intersection of warehousing, transportation, 3PL management, and deployment planning, you will build strong partnerships with internal business partners, scale operations, manage escalations, roll out tooling, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced, high-growth business area. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy on ambiguous problems for Connectivity — driving execution across the operations network. This role supports Meta's significant anticipated capacity and centralized warehouse growth in 2026. You will and grow processes, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, and envision the future systems and processes needed to support growing customer needs. The role has high visibility and drives large-scale execution and transformation across Meta's multi-echelon supply chain with 7 days operations coverage with 5 days working.

Responsibilities

  • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift within a 12-hour operational window (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with flexibility required for occasional weekend coverage as needed. When a weekend shift is assigned, an alternate weekday off will be scheduled
  • Define and enforce allocation frameworks that direct constrained inventory toward highest-impact programs and business-critical deployments
  • Triage competing requests using clear criteria (revenue impact, program milestone risk, deployment criticality) and communicate trade-off decisions to stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional prioritization forums to align XFN partners on high-impact shortages and drive down shortages for deployment
  • Continuously refine prioritization rubrics based on post-mortem learnings and shifting business priorities
  • Coordinate day-to-day deployment planning and execution to move data center hardware from Meta's North American distribution network into deployed, live capacity
  • Manage the movement of goods and equipment by building efficient operations and schedules for on-time delivery
  • Align on required value-added services (VAS) processes to support connectivity gear at distribution and deployment sites across 3PLs, value-added services providers, and XFN, and deploy to meet customer needs
  • Oversee on-site 3PL and warehouse vendor operations to ensure quality control and compliance with Meta's policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Define standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize deployment efficiency
  • Track KPIs (on-time delivery, transit times, cost reporting) and act on the data to resolve bottlenecks and operational risks
  • Support root-cause analysis (RCA) on inventory discrepancies, including Sarbanes-Oxley inventory-control requirements
  • Assess supply chain costs attributed to each program to clarify how current priorities affect supply chain performance


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field; other technical education, experience, and degrees considered based on professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, 3PL management, transportation management, supply chain, inventory management, operations, or manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience operating in a matrixed organization, independently identifying, managing, and solving complex, ambiguous problems
  • Proven track record independently leading warehouse and transportation operations and 3PL providers at scale, and driving operational quality and compliance in a large-scale distribution environment
  • Demonstrated experience setting operational standards, metrics, and SOPs adopted across teams or regions
  • Hands-on experience with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS/OMS) and transportation logistics services
  • Experience in performance analysis, detailed reporting, and cost management / budget adherence
  • Willingness and ability to travel (estimated \~25%) to warehouse and 3PL locations across North America for on-site management and auditing


Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record leading initiatives across a geographically distributed, cross-functional environment with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience in logistics operations in a global, high-growth environment
  • Experience with the import/export environment of 3PL/carrier operations
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
  • Understanding of relational databases and ERP systems (Oracle or similar), plus MS Access, Excel, and Project
