We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Coordinator to help expand our candidate network and support recruiting efforts across multiple clients and industries.

Position Overview

The Talent Coordinator will play a critical role in building talent pipelines for some of New Mexico's fastest-growing technology companies. This individual will be responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting outreach, managing recruiting systems, coordinating interviews, supporting university partnerships, and promoting opportunities through social media and community engagement.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and wants to help shape the future workforce of New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Outreach

  • Identify and source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, university networks, professional associations, and STEM Boomerang's talent database.

  • Conduct outreach campaigns to engage potential candidates.

  • Build and maintain relationships with technical professionals across New Mexico and beyond.

  • Generate candidate referrals through networking and relationship-building activities.

Recruiting Operations

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and employers.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within recruiting and CRM systems.

  • Track candidate activity and recruiting metrics.

  • Support job posting management across multiple platforms.

  • Ensure recruiting processes move efficiently and professionally.

University & Community Engagement

  • Develop relationships with university career centers, faculty, student organizations, and workforce development partners.

  • Promote opportunities for students, graduates, and alumni.

  • Represent STEM Boomerang at career fairs, networking events, and industry gatherings.


Requirements

Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Self-starter who can operate independently in a startup environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, business development, marketing, or workforce development.

  • Experience using LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, or CRM platforms.

  • Familiarity with technical industries such as engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or energy.

  • Experience with social media marketing and content creation.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $60,000 + commission
