Job Summary:
The Sand & Gravel Department is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Water Truck Driver / 
Equipment Operator to support upcoming solar projects. The successful candidate will be 
responsible for safely operating a water truck and other heavy equipment in an active aggregate 
and construction environment. This position requires the ability to safely drive on gravel roads 
with high volumes of oncoming traffic, as well as operate various equipment as needed to 
support daily Sand & Gravel operations. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, dependable, 
and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties:
• Safely operate a water truck on gravel roads and active construction sites.
• Maintain constant awareness of surrounding vehicles, equipment, personnel, and 
changing road conditions.
• Demonstrate safe and responsible driving practices in areas with high-volume 
oncoming traffic.
• Follow site-specific traffic plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Learn and properly perform assigned water truck operations and responsibilities.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Work cooperatively with other employees, equipment operators, and project 
personnel.
• Perform other duties related to water truck operations as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous water truck or heavy equipment experience is preferred but not required.
* Must demonstrate safe driving skills and good judgment.
* Must have the ability and willingness to learn.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
* Ability to work effectively in an active construction and aggregate environe environment.
* Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when required

* Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and comply with all applicable safety 
requirements.
* Valid Nevada driver's license with an insurable driving record; Commercial Driver's License 
(CDL) preferred.
* Must be able to pass any and all drug screenings that may come up
